Product Design

With more than five years experience applying design methods to insure inclusion – my team and I are creating wearable devices and mobile technologies that empower independence for person with disabilities (PWO). I apply product design and development methods to enhancing the device-human interaction and experience.

Strategy & Innovation

It’s all about Design Thinking – I’m using my extensive scientific expertise to employing the latest research tools to understand the customers’ needs, behaviors, attitudes and motivations. The result – customer and product-market validation backed by data and real business intelligence.

Leadership

I bring deep insights and expertise to collaborating with thought leaders in the field of accessibility, user experience and product design. The results are collaborations that immediately yield tangible results that are quickly applied to meet the business needs.

Customer Success

Being in front of the customer and the end user is where I do my best work. The success of the product relies on the success of its users or customers. I apply a wide range of user-research tools and design thinking methods to understanding the user and translating that back to the engineering team.

Testimonials

Fernando is an exceptional person, both personally and professionally. His enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge and experiences for the betterment of others is unbridled and infectious. Fernando played a pivotal role in helping me discover my potential as an entrepreneur by showing me how to overcome mental barriers erected by my work in the academic sciences and structured industry. His distillation of complex topics to easily digestible components is exemplary – a soft skill lacking in all too many professionals.

Fernando is truly one-of-a-kind. While working with Fernando at Libboo I had the pleasure of learning from his research techniques and his ability to add incomparable insight to any problem or discussion that our team was having. Fernando was a mentor to me since my first day at Libboo and helped me to carve out my own role within the team. He is meticulous in his research, thoughtful in the way he offers assistance or support, ingenious in the way he problem solves, and empowering in the way he encourages others to take initiative, think outside the box, and offer creative solutions.
